DUNAatelier
Annually, during the summer months, the event "Katwijk En Plein Air - painting by the sea" is organized. Around fifteen artists, from both within the country and abroad, are invited to participate. Their work is exhibited at the DUNAatelier from July until the end of September. Additionally, throughout the year, there are exhibitions featuring both professional and amateur artists working in various disciplines.

Kunstvereeniging Katwijk Foundation
A hundred-year-old name...
"The purpose of the association is to provide the public with the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of its members," state the statutes of Kunstvereeniging Katwijk, founded in 1908. As a foundation, the association with the same name was revitalized in 2008. More than a hundred years later, there is once again a platform for artists in Katwijk who draw inspiration from reality and paint en plein air.
The "Kunstvereeniging Katwijk" Foundation aims to create space for artistic practice and its experience. They achieve this by providing facilitative support to both plein air and other artists, thereby upholding an old Dutch painting tradition.
