Rishiraj Kulkarni & Jan van Berkel – in concert
On July 25th, musician Rishiraj Kulkarni returns to the Universel – Sufi Temple in the dunes of Katwijk aan Zee! This time, he will be performing in concert together with Jan van Berkel.
Rishiraj Kulkarni is an Indian multi-percussionist who performs original compositions on unique handmade instruments such as the handpan and tabla. His music blends natural sounds, world music, and rhythm. Weather permitting, he may perform outdoors in the amphitheater.
Jan van Berkel discovered the handpan in 2012 and has since used it to bring stories and memories to life. His music takes you on a personal journey filled with emotion, melody, and reflection.
