On Tuesday, August 12th, from 11 AM to 5 PM, an exciting Chalk Art Festival will take place on the Andreasplein in Katwijk aan Zee, led by internationally renowned artist Donna Corbani.
Everyone who enjoys drawing on the street, from enthusiastic children to professional artists, is warmly invited to join. This festival is open to all ages, and participation, including the use of materials, is completely free.
You'll be working in the tradition of the Italian street painters, who create beautiful chalk artworks. Example drawings will be available, and Donna Corbani will be happy to guide you with practical tips. In addition to the classic sidewalk chalk that many kids know, there will also be soft pastels in a wide range of colors. These allow you to create even more beautiful and detailed street art.
Drawing on the street is a great activity to enjoy together with your children, family, or friends. Registration is not required, feel free to just drop by and join in!
