Free Planck Library Membership

With this step, Planck aims to make the library even more accessible. A new generation will gain access to knowledge, information, entertainment, and adventure, completely free of charge. You can become a member in two ways: 1) via the online registration form, or 2) at the counter in the branches (except for the Zeeweg branch).

What does the free membership include?

• Free access to the entire physical collection of Planck

• 10% discount on a second paid music lesson (with a minimum of 11 lessons per year)

• Member discounts on a selection of Planck’s activities

Note: The e-books and audiobooks of the Online Library are not included in this free membership. This digital collection remains accessible through the regular, paid library membership.

Automatic conversion for current members
On October 1, 2025, all active subscriptions in this age category will be automatically converted to a free membership. Members who prefer to keep their paid membership (for example, for access to the digital collection) will have the opportunity to indicate this beforehand.
