From September 1 to 30, 2025, the exhibition *Here and There* will be on display at the Dorpshuis Valkenburg, featuring art from near and far.
With the theme “Here and There,” various artists will exhibit at the Dorpshuis in Valkenburg from September 1 to 30, 2025.
France Linder and Andries Kroon are exhibiting together on the white wall to the left of the entrance. France Linder’s paintings showcase examples of countries that inspire her — the glider maker in Thailand and colorful spots in Taiwan and Canada. She has also painted the Klinkenbergerplas lake. Pay special attention to the richness of the colors in her works. Andries Kroon’s paintings express his love for France, featuring places like Gordes sur Ciel, Vaison-la-Romaine, Nice, and a lavender field near Grillon.

The works of Jos den Hartogh hang on the brown walls in the Grand Café. From the Mauritshuis and Gaudi’s house to the dunes in Noordwijk and a self-portrait with his daughter in a bulb field in the Bollenstreek. Beautiful places close to home and further away — in other words, “here and there.”
In the display cabinet, you can see work by Stans von Winckelmann. She creates special pots and bowls from pieces of wood, often combined with epoxy. From “there” in the forests to “here” in your living room.
