On the square near the statue of Spinoza, at the head of the Vliet, there will be a real Rijnsburg mini Montmartre on Wednesday 12 June from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of the Braderie at the ‘Paardenmarkt’.
There are a number of stalls filled with surprising creative and unique works of art, and several artists are painting ‘en plein air’. There will also be a real portrait artist present who will take a quick portrait of you for free. You can also get behind the canvas yourself and create a beautiful painting on the easels that are waiting for you.
Participation is free, but if you want to make sure you can get started right away with brush and paint, register in advance via the option ‘send an e-mail’. Include your name, phone number and what time you will come to paint in your registration e-mail. All ages are welcome! Whether you want to paint a colourful flower, a portrait of your mother or the beautiful surroundings, anything is possible.

Tineke van Amsterdam and Alida van Leeuwen, two artists from KunstenaarsCollectief KuCo will be present to help and guide you. Besides a real canvas, all materials such as brushes, palette knives and paint, will be in abundance. But of course, you may also bring your own materials to get started.
