Comedian Lisa Loeb talks about her anxiety disorder

Comedian and singer Lisa Loeb is coming to the Katwijk Library to give a lecture about her writing debut BANG.

In BANG, Lisa shows what it's like to live with an anxiety disorder: the hilarity and the misery of it. The lecture starts at 8 p.m. in the Story Room of the Katwijk aan Zee Library.

By now, no one can ignore Lisa Loeb. This multi-talent - a correct description of this singer, comedian, actress, presenter and writer - won De smartest mens in 2021 and then broke through with the general public. Last year she was nominated for the third time for the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize for the best theater song, and on November 8, 2022 her long-awaited writing debut BANG was published by Lebowski publishers. The book was already on the bestseller list in its first week and received nothing but rave reviews.

BANG is not a self-help book or a hallelujah story, this is the raw reality. After all, fabrics are wrongly adjusted in Lisa Loeb's head, she would rather not have had that herself. But even when you're scared, there's still quite a bit to laugh about.
