K&O Katwijk offers a concert in the Soefitempel by the duo Anneleen Schuitemaker and Jeffrey Kant.
Harpist Anneleen Schuitemaker was born in 1992 in Katwijk aan Zee and got raised there. She studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music with Erika Waardenburg, where she received her Bachelor's degree in 2014. Shortly thereafter, she was admitted to the master's program and earned her Master of Music degree with a 9.5 in June 2018. She is a second and substitute solo harpist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam and has won several awards, including 1st prize at the Rosa Spier Harp Competition (2011) and 1st prize at the 5th International Competition in Sandstedt, Germany (2014).

Anneleen forms a regular duo with trombonist Jeffrey Kant, who plays on a replica of a Renaissance trombone. Jeffrey (1992) and trained at the Rotterdam Conservatory and later the Amsterdam Conservatory, among others. In 2014, he received his Bachelor of Music degree. From 2015 he played in various orchestras including the WDR Sinfonieorchester in Cologne.
They follow the entire timeline to the present including music by Bach, Fauré, Ravel, Massenet, Satie and Vaughan Williams. The program includes music by composers ranging from Renaissance to High Romantic and occasionally something swinging, ending with an arrangement of Carmen for trombone and harp as a festive finale.
